Review: Silentnight Anti-Snore Pillows

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

This week is National Stop Snoring Week. There are an estimated 15 million people in the UK who snore. Silentnight have an Anti-Snore pillow which helps to reduce snoring by gently supporting the head and neck in a position that encourages better body alignment. The pillow has a firm core which has been ergonomically shaped to raise the head slightly.

Hypoallergenic and machine washable, the Silentnight Anti-Snore pillow is made in the UK and available from a number of retailers including Sleepypeople where it costs £18.99.

Although snoring isn't a huge problem in our house, Andy can be bad when he is really tired and we all tend to when we have colds. It can be quite disruptive at times though especially when you are not used to it. I usually opt for soft pillows when shopping myself but they flatten so quickly and I like my pillows to be high up. Me and Andy now have one of these Anti-snore pillows each with a soft pillow underneath. These are medium so are in between both soft and firm. They seem huge compared to what we are used to but are so comfortable and you can really feel the added support.

Since we have been using them neither of us has complained about the other snoring (yet!). Of course pillows can't eliminate snoring altogether, but better positioning whilst you sleep is a great way to dramatically reduce snoring and will more than likely improve the quality of your sleep at the same time!

I am really impressed with the Anti-Snore pillows so far and fingers crossed we will get plenty of peaceful nights sleep ahead with their help!

If snoring isn't an issue for you, Silentnight also sell a range of anti-allergy pillows too. There is a pillow to suit everyone, ensuring we can all get a good night sleep.
