Christmas Gift Guide For Men

Saturday, December 19, 2015

Looking for gift ideas for men that are not Lynx sets or socks? I have a few suggestions here for some great gifts for the men in your life this Christmas. Whether it be a Boyfriend, Husband, Father or Grandfather. I hope you find some of these suggestions useful:

Braun Series 9 Shaver

I have never understood much about Men's shavers but Andy is a bit of a geek about these things and is always looking at the latest models. He also has to look smart and be clean shaven for work so a decent shaver is a must-have item for him. The Braun Series 9 shaver boasts a multi headlock with 5 adjustable angles for a precise shave, skin friendly precision trimmer for perfect moustache and sideburn shaping, full recharge in one hour and up to 50 minutes cordless shaving. The RRP is £329.99.

Getting Personal Towel

Andy doesn't get much time off work but when he does if he isn't spending it with us, he likes to play Golf. Whether it is a full course with his friends or a few hours at the driving range practising, it is a way he likes to relax. This year my Dad gave him a new set of clubs to replace his very old set and so he has been playing much more. Whilst having a browse on the Getting Personal website, I thought it would be nice to find a nice personalised item for Golf for him from the kids. This personalised velour sports towel is really nice, embroidered with his initials, I thought it would be a nice and useful present for him. When it arrived I was very pleased with the quality. The towel is velour so absorbs and dries quickly for optimal use. It also comes with a carabiner clip to attach it to your golf bag so I know he won't lose it. At £19.99, I think this is a great price for a long lasting personalised gift.

TYLT Energi Sliding Power Case

I have to admit, I never knew these things existed until recently and I was sent a case for a Samsung Galaxy S5 to try out for myself and they are brilliant. Andy has been using the case for a while now. The actual shell that is used as a day to day case to protect your phone is really good quality and really thick feeling. It fits perfectly so there is no movement from the phone inside. The charger part of the case is charged up using a USB wire to your laptop or computer and I love that you can charge your phone in the case at the same time as the laptop is charging the case. While it is connected you can also access the files in your phone so I have been using it to transfer all my photos on to my laptop! It really is a brilliant product and you can buy them for most major smartphones. The RRP is £54.99-£84.99 and it is available to buy on Amazon.

Tablet TV

Tablet TV is a simple device which allows you to watch freeview tv channels on your iPad or android tablet anywhere and any time for free. You don't need to rely on 3G, 4G or Wifi, all you need is a TV signal, tablet and the free Tablet TV UK app. You can also record tv to watch later on the go. There are two tuner models available; the mains tuner (£64.99) and a portable tuner (£69.99). Tablet TV would be the ideal gift for anyone who travels or commutes a lot. It is available to buy on the Tablet TV UK website or on Amazon.

Alternatively, if you are looking for something more active rather than techy you could always opt for Experience Day vouchers. I personally have always wanted to try Archery lessons but there are so many great options for lovers of outdoors, sports, driving, food etc.
