Review: Disney Palace Pets Walking & Wriggling Pet

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

For a few months Gracie had seen Disney Palace Pets across toy stores and supermarkets and asked many times for one. I had just popped it to the back of my mind and thought I will look out closer to Christmas/birthdays etc. I hadn't really looked into what they were or what they do.

Anyway we were offered one to review so I thought it was a great opportunity to see what they were all about and whether they would live up to the hype that Gracie had certainly given them. Disney Palace Pets are the adorable animal friends of some of the famous Disney Princesses. They are all pampered and pretty pets.

We received a Disney Palace Pets Walking & Wriggling pet. The pet we received was Pumpkin, the glamorous Puppy belongs to Cinderella hence the blue colour theme. Gracie was so excited when it arrived and couldn't wait to take her out for a play. The pet itself is pretty good quality and comes with a small brush for your child to groom her. We did have a slight problem with the pink stand? Gracie is quite determined she should do her walking and wiggling along the stand but we haven't been able to get her to even stand on it let alone walk. I am not actually sure if it was there for display purposes in the packaging or whether it should in fact be used to move her along. Without the stand she moves along nicely and Gracie enjoys playing with her. She moves using a simple pull back technique, you simply drag her backwards, let go and away she goes.

Overall, it isn't a bad toy. Gracie really likes it and it is very cute! It retails at £9.99 which is a little more than I would pay for it but would make a lovely little gift for any young girl. it is available to buy at

We were sent the item featured free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
