My Top 3 tips for taking photos of children...

For anyone that doesn't know Zulily, it's the daily deals site with a difference. I came across them a few months ago and I'm regularly checking it out for its amazing deals. Their flash sales offer up to 90% off high end brands with each deal lasting 72 hours. Stock can be limited though so if you spot a bargain perfect for you then don't hesitate you won't regret buying it!

The thing I like best about Zulily is that whatever you buy is sent directly from them unlike many other daily deal sites where you purchase a voucher to use then have to order and pay p&p costs. Zulily charge £3.95 standard delivery for UK orders and if you decide to order anything else the same day there are no extra delivery charges.

Not only does Zulily treat us all with their fab deals but they also hold a monthly cuties competition. This month they are asking for an instagram photo of your little one with the biggest grin possible. Their favourite photo wins a £100 Zulily Voucher, storage boxes from Feather and Black and a Juicy Couture clutch for mum. For all the bloggers out there Zulily have issued a very exciting challenge! They want to know the best three tips you use to take photos of your little ones!

So here are mine:

1. Be sneaky some of my favourite photos of my little ones are taken when they are doing something cute or funny before they notice I have snapped them. A few of my recent favourites were of my daughter making breakfast and cups of tea at christmas using her new toy kitchen and tea set.

2. Be silly! My daughter is very aware of the camera now and as soon as I get the camera out she likes to pull faces. We love to have fun taking photos of our funny faces to look at and always end up in fits of giggles!

3. Be cruel! I know this doesn't sound like much of a tip! But you know when you have friends or partners around and your mum wants to show them some 'great baby pics'. Funnily enough it's never the really cute ones they get out is it? I love to capture all the cringeworthy photos. My favourite 'cruel' photo is of Gracie painting daddy's fathers day card and deciding to try eating the paint!

So they are my top tips! I could add lots more tips for great photos. I like to think that to capture a picture you're capturing a memory and each and every photo you take tells a story.
